Multiple Email Recipients Per Dealer Customer
There is going to be a function on the company level that will allow admin to define who else can receive the transactional emails apart from admins.
The company admin will have this option in the admin panel as well as the front end under the Company Admin section to configure comma-separated multiple email addresses to whom he wants to trigger the emails.
Transactional email consists of
Order Related Emails
Shipment Related Emails
These additional recipients will be kept in cc while the emails are being triggered.
CC Emails on Order & Quote Creation
In step 1 of Quote / Order creation, we will show the cc emails configured by the company admin. If there are multiple emails, it will be visible comma-separated.
From here, if the user wants to add any more emails, he can add those email addresses into the cc email input box and remove any existing email from there as well.
Adding / Removing any email in step 1 of the cc email address input will be specific to that order / quote only. It should not affect the stored email address under the Company Admin section. If changes need to be made permanently, the admin will be able to perform the same from the Company Admin section.
One Time Customer Sync and Welcome Email
As of now, customer sync will not be required in the OMS, but it may be needed in the respective project so we can prepare a custom script to import all the existing customers from the dealer database to Magento at one time.
We will also send a welcome email to them through which they can be introduced to New Portal (https://www.yourdomain.com) and the Option to Set a password for them and log in on the Portal.
Email Notifications
For any transaction or changes in transaction, the system will trigger email Notification to respective customers. We will get Writeup from the client for all the emails. All emails shall contain Same Header and Footer.
