We’re excited to roll out powerful new features as part of OMS Q2-2025 Release to make your experience faster, smarter, and more efficient. This release brings seamless NetSuite SO# sync, one-click pick list & label printing, low stock alerts, Pro Kitchen import upgrades, video support in resources, and more. Also with drag-and-drop item sequencing in Order/Quote Step 3, advanced fee controls, and performance boosts, OMS is now more flexible and user-friendly than ever!

1. Print Pick List & Product Labels

This feature streamlines warehouse and fulfilment operations by enabling quick access to printable pick lists and product labels directly from the admin panel. It reduces manual effort, improves order accuracy.

  • Pick List Printing: A single-click option to print pick lists—either Bundle + Components or Components only—directly from the order view page in the admin panel.

  • Product Label Printing: Enables quick product label printing directly from the order view page in the admin panel.

2. NetSuite Sales Order Number Integration

The integration with NetSuite ERP now supports capturing and displaying the NetSuite Sales Order Number (SO#) throughout the OMS platform. This SO# can optionally replace the Magento order number on all order-related pages, customer emails, and PDF documents. Businesses can configure the system to either display both numbers or just the NetSuite SO#, depending on operational preference and visibility requirements.

3. Low Stock Notification Email to Admin

A new low stock alert system notifies admins when product inventory drops below a set threshold. Notifications are fully configurable, including email recipients, frequency, sender, and template. Admins can exclude specific SKUs, vendors, or door styles. Alerts only trigger for in-stock items with backorders disabled. This feature helps prevent stockouts by automatically alerting admins when inventory reaches critical levels.

4. Markup PDF – Pickup Address Enhancement

For pickup orders, dealers can now choose the pickup address while generating the Marked-Up PDF. This allows displaying the dealer's selected address instead of the distributor's address. This enhancement provides greater flexibility and control to dealers by allowing them to specify the appropriate pickup address on the Marked-Up PDF. It ensures that the document reflects the correct logistical details, reducing confusion and improving order accuracy for both dealers and customers.

5. Resources Now Support Videos

The Resources section now supports videos in addition to images and documents. Clients can upload installation or assembly videos or link them via YouTube or Vimeo URLs. Videos can be organized into configurable categories to help customers easily find the content they need.

6. Advanced Extra Fee Configuration

Distributors can now apply and configure additional fees (e.g., tariffs) with full control. Set fees as fixed or percentage-based, choose whether to include tax, shipping, and discounts, and define how they appear on the frontend - mandatory, hidden, or refundable.

7. Announcements / Latest News Enhancements

OMS now supports displaying important announcements or the latest news to dealers via a pop-up notification. Admins can choose which news items should appear in the pop-up, allowing greater control over urgent or high-priority communications. This feature ensures that important updates, promotions, or system alerts are immediately visible to dealers through pop-up notifications.

8. Pro Kitchen Import – Add Items Directly to Cart

While using Pro Kitchen Import, dealers can now directly add imported items to the cart, similar to the functionality available in the 2020 Import. This streamlines the workflow and reduces manual steps after import.

9. Order / Quote Shuffle Styles and Style Items

Dealers can now reorder items within a style and rearrange entire styles using drag-and-drop in the Order / Quote creation journey on step 3. The updated sequence will reflect across the Quote View, Order Detail Page, and all related pages or PDFs where quotes or orders are displayed.  This enhancement improves flexibility and control in organizing quotes, making it easier for dealers to present items and styles in a preferred sequence.

10. Local Box Truck Delivery with Labor Cost

OMS now supports Local Box Truck Delivery with configurable fees based on distance and labor. Admins can define delivery charges per mile and add additional costs based on the number of laborers required. This allows businesses to provide more accurate and transparent pricing for local deliveries, factoring in both travel distance and labor costs to maintain profitability.

11. Configurable Post-Login Redirect

A new configuration option has been introduced in the admin panel to control where users are redirected after logging in on the frontend. By default, users are redirected to the Dashboard, but admins can now set any specific page (e.g., Orders, Account Info, Custom URL) as the post-login landing page. This enhancement provides greater flexibility in guiding user navigation based on business needs.

12. Performance Optimization in Quote & Order Creation

We've optimized and significantly improved the performance for Steps 1-6 in the Quote / Order creation journey. It includes the speed of key actions like adding items, removing items, and style switching during the quote and order creation process. These enhancements result in a faster and smoother experience for users.

13. Complete Dealer Registration Details in Admin Email

Upon submission of the "Become a Dealer" form, the company registration request email will now include all captured registration details. This enhancement ensures that admins have immediate access to all necessary information for reviewing and approving dealer requests.

14. Improved Accessibility of Markup PDF Download

To enhance usability, the Download Markup PDF button has been relocated to the dedicated Marked-Up section on the Quote View page. This update ensures that all actions related to markup are centralized in one place, making it easier for users to access and manage marked-up documents.

15. Control Display of Bundled Item Components in Markup PDF

A new checkbox option has been added to the Marked-Up section on the Quote View page, allowing users to show or hide bundled item components in the Marked-Up PDF. This enhancement gives dealers more control over how product details are presented in the markup quote, enabling a cleaner or more detailed view as per business needs.

16. Quote API Integration for Magento ↔ NetSuite Sync

As part of our ongoing integration efforts, we’ve introduced Quote APIs to enable synchronization of quotes from Magento to NetSuite and back to Magento.

These updates bring significant improvements to the OMS platform, helping distributors optimize their operations and provide a better experience for their customers. We encourage you to explore these new features and take full advantage of the enhancements. For any questions or support, feel free to reach out to us at info@kitchen365.com.
