We are excited to announce the latest updates in our OMS platform as part of the Q4-2024 release. These enhancements are designed to provide greater flexibility, improved control, and enhanced user experiences for both administrators and customers.
1. Enable / Disable & Define Credit Card Surcharge on Company Level
Managing credit card surcharges has become more flexible with this update. Previously set globally, administrators can now enable or disable surcharges for specific companies and adjust the percentage for each. This feature allows exceptions to the global surcharge rule, ensuring that businesses can cater to specific company needs without affecting overall settings.
2. Welcome Emailer to Admin & Staff User Enhancements
We’ve refined the content of welcome emails to improve communication between distributors and dealers. This update ensures that welcome emails are more relevant and impactful. Additionally, we’ve eliminated unnecessary email triggers, reducing inbox clutter while enhancing the overall user experience.
3. Lead Time Display on Style Level
Enhancing shipping transparency, we’ve introduced lead time configuration at the style level. Admins can now choose to display lead times dynamically based on lead time day configurations or opt for a custom lead time message. This flexibility ensures that customers receive accurate and clear shipping information tailored to each style configuration.
4. Ship Available or Ship Together on Checkout Page in Case of Backorders
We’ve added new options to manage backorders at checkout. Customers can now choose to “Ship Available” and receive in-stock items immediately, or “Ship Together” to hold the shipment until all items are ready. This functionality ensures flexibility and convenience, making it easier for customers to manage their orders.
5. Request a Quote URL Configuration
Admins now have the ability to define dynamic URLs for the Request a Quote page. This configurable feature allows distributors to create custom quote page URL, which will reflect on both the My Quotes and Company Quotes pages, enhancing navigation and accessibility.
6. Low Stock Threshold Management on Product Level
A new low-stock threshold feature empowers admins to define inventory levels for SKUs. When stock falls below the set threshold, items will display as “Low Stock” instead of “In Stock.” For bundled items, if any component hits the threshold, the entire bundle reflects the low-stock status, improving inventory transparency.
7. Exclude Products from Multiplier Application
Admins now have the ability to exclude specific SKUs from customer multipliers. This feature provides greater control by allowing admins to decide which SKUs should not have the multiplier applied, ensuring more precise and tailored pricing strategies.
8. Company Edit – Bifurcate Payment Restriction List
To enhance usability, we’ve separated enabled and disabled payment methods within the Manage Companies section. This clear bifurcation simplifies the management of payment restrictions, making it easier for admins to configure options.
9. Address Autocomplete Using Google APIs
Address entry has been streamlined with Google API integration. The autocomplete feature speeds up address input while reducing errors. Admins can choose to enable or disable this functionality, with the Google API key configurable through the admin portal. Kindly note that the Google API Key will be required to enable this feature & it needs to be taken from the respective project.
10. View All SKUs – Layered Navigation
We’ve improved the “View All SKUs” popup by introducing layered navigation. Users can now filter SKUs more effectively using attributes beyond just categories like Base, Wall, or Tall. Admin-configurable filter options provide additional flexibility, ensuring faster and more precise SKU searches.
11. Search Sort Order Configuration for SKUs
SKU search functionality has been enhanced with a new sort order configuration. Admins can now define a “Search Position” attribute to prioritize products in the search results. This feature adds another layer of customization to product search, making navigation smoother.
12. Quote View – Upload Design Packet Functionality
We’ve introduced the ability to upload a Design Packet directly to a quote. Admins can upload the packet either by logging in as the customer or via the Quote View in the admin interface. Additionally, a new "Send Email" CTA has been added, enabling admins to resend the quote email to customers, including a reference to the uploaded Design Packet. Customers can conveniently download the Design Packet from the Quote View page, enhancing the overall quote management experience.
13. Admin Configuration for Logo and Favicon
Admins can now manage these assets the logo & favicon directly from the admin portal, simplifying the process of updating branding elements.
14. Default Search Options for RTA and Assembled Styles
A new configuration at the style level allows admins to set default search options for styles available in both RTA and Assembled. This ensures that the preferred option—whether RTA or Assembled—appears by default on the shopping cart step, providing a more streamlined customer experience.
