OMS Q2-2024 Product Release Notes

As part of our commitment to enhancing the OMS and ensuring it remains robust and business-compliant for our customers, we have developed and implemented the following features, enhancements, and fixes during Q2-2024.
New Functions Added
1. Customer/Dealer Dashboard Reports
We have introduced a new functionality that allows dealers to view their association with distributors through a Dealer Dashboard. This feature provides three comprehensive reports that help dealers evaluate their relationships with distributors, enhancing transparency and decision-making.
2. Credit Card Surcharge
A new feature has been added to manage credit card surcharges effectively. This functionality can be toggled on or off at the company level, offering flexibility in handling additional transaction costs and ensuring accurate billing practices.
3. Dealer Arranged Freight
Dealers now have the option to select the shipping method as Dealer Arranged Shipping. This provides greater flexibility in choosing shipping options, allowing dealers to manage their logistics more effectively and potentially reduce shipping costs.
4. Quotation - Marked Up PDF - Option to Hide Line-Item Price
We have added an option to hide line-item prices on marked-up PDF quotations. This feature offers dealers more discretion in presenting pricing to their customers, enhancing negotiation capabilities and protecting sensitive pricing information.
5. TMS Support - Global Tranz Integration
We have integrated support for Global Tranz, streamlining the transportation management process for LTL orders. This integration improves shipping efficiency and providing better service to customers.
6. Resources Management
New resource management functionalities have been added to improve efficiency and oversight. Dealers can now share files and external URLs under different categories and configure access based on user groups. This feature enhances collaboration and ensures the right resources are available to the right people.
7. Shipping / Pickup Date Selection Rules Configuration
Users can now configure rules for selecting shipping and pickup dates, enhancing scheduling capabilities. This feature allows for more precise delivery planning, reducing delays and improving customer satisfaction.
8. Capture Third Party API Logs
A new feature to capture third-party API logs has been introduced, aiding in troubleshooting and monitoring. This capability ensures better oversight of external integrations and helps maintain system reliability.
9. Terms/Credit Limit Management We have improved terms and credit limit management functionalities, allowing configuration at the company level to enable or disable the Terms as a payment method. If a customer lacks sufficient credit for an order, they cannot select the Terms payment method. The credit limit is shared among the Admin Customer and Staff Members of the company. This improvement allows for more flexible credit management, ensuring that customer transactions are aligned with company policies and reducing financial risk.
Enhancements and Bug Fixes
Multiplier Related Improvements: Improved handling of company-level multipliers, ensuring accurate application across all products in the cart.
RMA Function Related Improvements: Enhanced RMA functionality to prevent form duplication and improve process efficiency.
Become a Dealer, Reseller Certificate Upload Function Improvements: Streamlined the certificate upload process, including validation messages for incorrect file types and size limits.
Modification Popup Related Improvements: Improved modification pop-up to ensure accurate price display and custom options handling.
Kitchen Design Form Display Configuration Related Improvements: Enhanced the configuration and display of the kitchen design form for better usability.
CC Emails Display on My Company Account: Added display of CC emails on the company account page for better communication tracking.
Filter Function Improvements on Quote & Order List: Enhanced filter functionalities to ensure options reset correctly but remain visible for better user experience.
