Article summary

As part of our commitment to enhancing the OMS and ensuring it remains robust and business-compliant for our customers, we have developed and implemented the following features, enhancements, and fixes during Q3-2024.

1. View All SKUs and Add to Cart from the Cart Page

We’ve added a new "View All SKUs" feature on the Cart page (Step 3), letting users view and add SKUs for a specific style on the cart step itself. A popup will show SKUs by category (Base, Wall, Tall, etc.), with configurable admin options. Users can select modifications and add SKUs directly from this view, making the process more seamless.

2. Enhanced Mark-Up Total on Quote View

Users can now enter marked-up charges directly from the Quote View without extra popups. The total markup is instantly shown in the Items Grid, with a detailed tooltip breakdown. A new "Marked-Up Total" line item has been added, reflecting real-time calculations, and the PDF download option now only appears if a mark-up percentage is applied.

3. Quote PDF: Consistent Layout with Web View

The Quote PDF will now match the Order PDF layout consisting all the information, ensuring a more consistent and comprehensive print experience. Item components will now be included in the PDF, though their individual prices won’t be displayed.

4. Admin Users Can Access to Company Quotes

Company Admin users can now view all quotes created under the company. This adds transparency and control for users with specific permissions.

5. Convert Staff Users’ Quotes to Orders for Company Admins

Company Admin Users can now convert quotes created by staff users into orders, giving them greater flexibility in managing quotes. A "Get Started" button allows admins to take ownership of the quote after confirmation, enabling full access to all actions previously restricted to the quote owner.

6. Split Payment Option

Customers can now pay for orders using multiple credit cards with our new Split Payment feature. Admins can set a deadline for payment completion, with automated reminders sent to customers. If payment isn't completed within the timeframe, the order will be canceled automatically. Admins can also handle offline payments via the admin interface for added flexibility. The Split Payment functionality currently supports payments via credit cards through Authorize.net.

7. Admin Approval for Company Email Updates

To prevent unauthorized updates, company email changes now require admin approval. Admins can review and approve or reject requests, with configurable settings for request lifetimes, email templates, and notifications.

8. Admin Activity Logs

Admins can now track user activity with detailed logs, capturing data changes, timestamps, and the user responsible. Logs can be archived after a set retention period, and bulk actions are tracked to ensure easy auditing of all changes.

9. Save Quote with Shipping Charges

Shipping charges will now be saved and displayed on the Quote View page, making quotes more accurate. Staff users with the necessary permissions can include these charges when saving quotes, and streamlining the quoting process.

10. Checkout Page Enhancements for "Place Order"

To simplify the checkout process, the "Place Order" button has been moved to the bottom of the page for better visibility and easier access.

11. Custom Company Attributes in Dealer Registration

Admins can now add and manage custom fields in dealer registration forms or company accounts, enhancing data capture for business needs. Custom attributes can be included in reports, making them valuable for business analysis. However, it's recommended to limit the number of attributes to maintain a streamlined user experience and use Magento’s default attributes whenever possible to avoid redundancy.

12. Bug Fixes & Improvements

This release also includes several bug fixes and performance enhancements to improve the overall user experience.
